Parc Jean-Drapeau surrounds the site, and the rowing basin and gardens lie close by. A hotel building sits on the same ground.
Beyond the rooms, the site holds several restaurants, among them a formal dining room and a buffet hall. Bars occupy more than one level. A cabaret room is used for live performance and for meetings. A terrace looks over the river, and the island's parkland begins at the door.

Two hotel towers, a spa, a concert theatre and a set of restaurants and cafés make up the rest of the site. The theatre is used for touring performers and for conferences. A parking structure and event rooms sit behind. The riverside walkway is open to the public and carries on past the marina.

Roads reach it from the highway out of Orillia, and the surrounding land is rural.
An entertainment hall on the site is used for touring concerts. Restaurants run from counters to a dining room, alongside a spa, a swimming pool and meeting rooms. The hotel occupies its own tower around an atrium. Wooded grounds and parking surround the buildings, and the lake is a short drive away.
